Report an error or suggest a correction

Fees, rules, road information and opening dates in Iceland change. If something on a page is wrong or out of date, please tell us. It helps if you include:

• the page address (URL),
• what is wrong, and what you think it should say,
• a link to an official or primary source that shows the current information, if you have one.

We check every reported error against the source and update the page and its "last verified" date when a correction is confirmed. Read more about how we check facts.

What we cannot help with

• Emergencies: call 112.
• Live road and weather conditions: use umferdin.is and vedur.is, and safetravel.is for alerts.
• Bookings, refunds or complaints about a tour, rental car or hotel: contact the company you booked with. We do not sell tours, cars or rooms ourselves.
